Connecting a whole district up to geothermal heat is quite a project. Within five years there will be some 4,000 homes and a number of companies connected up to geothermal heat.
- Location of the geothermal power station
The geothermal power station will be built on the corner of the Zuidwoldestraat and the Leyweg, where the tram terminal loop is.
- Location of the geothermal spring
The geothermal well is next to the entrance to the Het Leyendak doctors’ practice, at the side of the Haga hospital on the Leyweg.
